Busy busy

Well I have been a busy little bee over the last few weeks, lot sof orders have come through to keep me busy for the next couple of weeks. I am taking a week off to catch up with said orders and have a declutter of my house as I have so many mismatched furniture pieces that I wish to get rid off and replace with some nice bright white furniture to add some freshness to the house.
Once again I have been a bit on the slack side with my posting , I know this is where I let my little business down and would really try to fix it up. anyone have any ideas how I can fix this glitch up ?
I am also working on a catalogue of ALL my dress and garment designs so customers can see what I am able to make up and then another catalogue/album of fabrics I can purchase to make up designs.
with over 11 dress designs and many other items I can make up this may be a vast catalogue . I can then take the said catalogue to markets to show people what I can make up :)

This sweet christmas dress was made using the lauren dress pattern a very practical and versatile pattern that can be used for all seasons , also with this style as the armholes are  quite genourous it may be used as a top as your child grows.

Below is a Emmy pinny , i loved making up this dress , using the combination of floral and solid fabrics, than adding embellishments from The crafty grape(can be found on facebook)

I adore black and white and this black damask is one of my favourite prints , here I have made something the older child , being a shirred top with a halter neck tie, matched with black drill pants and contrast cuffs.

Last but not least a great basic skirt made from a very pretty tea party print , matched with a green singlet which I have appliqued to match.

Now i must dash , I have rufflebots to make , and 180 badges to pop onto shirts ( a local job for a local company) , very busy girl today .
may you all have a wonderful day today xox

A special dress for a special girl.

I was asked the other day if I could create/design a dress similar to a picture that a very special customer of mine liked.
After looking at the picture , zooming in and out a few times . I set to designing in my mind, very little sleep was had as I just kept going over and over n my head the way I could go about the dress.
Today I set to it as if I did not get this dress made I would be up for another sleepless nght, here is the finished product a lovely little girls dress that has a crossover bodice , fully lined , buttoned up at the back, the skirt has a lot of fullness , at the centre front I have made a curved cross over skirt . This dress can have a sash or no sash up to the customer . In this pic I have put on a red , a green and no sash just to show you.

Once i am up to date with outstanding orders , this dress will be up for customs. It will certainly make a pretty christmas, party, flowergirl or special occasion dress .
